NPC launches e-recruitment portal for 2023 Census. The National Population Commission, NPC, has officially launched its e-recruitment portal to recruit ad-hoc staff for the 2023 census.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday, the Census Manager, Inuwa Jalingo, said the Commission is expected to receive over 25 million applications for the available jobs, adding that there was a need for the process to be competitive, reliable, and transparent.
“The Commission adopts e-Recruitment portal to recruit ad-hoc staff for the 2023 Population and Housing Census. This portal has been tested during Pretest and Trial Census and has been greatly improved to serve different categories of ad-hoc staff.”
Jalingo maintained that the categories of staff to be recruited were, facilitators, training center administrators, monitoring & evaluation officers, data quality managers, data quality assistants, supervisors, enumerators, and special workforce.
Basic Requirements:
He added that the basic requirements for the application, were a National Identification Number Valid and Functional Gmail Account, a Valid and Functional Phone Number, a Valid and Functional /Operational Commercial Bank Account (No student/NYSC Account) Valid Educational Qualifications, referees “access to and knowledge on the use of computers, tablets & smartphones is an added advantage,” he noted.
Isa-Kwarra emphasized that the recruitment process will reflect greatly on the quality of data to be collected and ultimately the success of the 2023 census.
“The launching of the online E-recruitment portal for the 2023 census at the headquarters marks the beginning of the online recruitment process whereby Nigerians from all demography and gender can hook on to the website that will be provided by the Commission to fill the online form and get themselves registered to be recruited.”
Method Of Application
Click on the Link Below, it will take you to the Application Portal for the 2023 Census
Click on Start Application and select Start as “Ad-hoc Staff“
Click and tick each Box located at the beginning of each requirement
Click on PROCEED it will take you to the page where you will be required to enter your NIN NUMBER, Fill in your NIN NUMBER And click on VERIFY,
It will show you verification is successful, and it will also ask you to save your Application ID, After saving it click on OKAY,
You Will then find yourself on the first page of the Application,
Fill in all the required information and click on NEXT at the bottom of the page, it will take you to page two where you will also require to fill in another piece of information,
Keep filling in all the required pieces of information until you submit your application
Please note that there will be temporary system closure of the e-recruitment portal for internal review of the recruitment process from 7th November to 13th November, 2022.
